Actor Shizan Khan, arrested for forcing late Indian actress Tunisha Sharma to commit suicide, got bail.
A Maharashtra court on Saturday granted bail to Shizan Khan, who was arrested for inciting his alleged girlfriend, actress Tunisha Sharma to commit suicide in December last year, according to Indian media reports.
The report states that Shizan Khan was granted bail in exchange of Rs 1 lakh bonds and passport.
Sheezan Khan was taken into custody by Valeo police after he was accused of instigating suicide by Tunisha Sharma’s mother Vinita Sharma.
According to Vinita Sharma’s allegations, Shizan Khan used to beat Tunisha Sharma and also forced her to convert to Islam.
Later, Shizaan Khan’s sister, actress Fulk Naaz, claimed that Tunisha Sharma’s mother neglected her daughter, which is why the late actress suffered from depression.
On December 31, the court sent the actor to 14-day judicial custody after the police custody was over.
Later, the judicial custody of the actor was extended.
It should be noted that 20-year-old Tunisha Sharma committed suicide in the make-up room of co-star and alleged ex-boyfriend Shizan Muhammad Khan on the set of the drama serial ‘Alibaba: Dastan-e-Kabul’ on December 24.
