The Meteorological Department has reported partly cloudy weather in Karachi today and possibility of drizzle in different parts of the city at night.

According to the Meteorological Department, westerly winds will enter the northern areas of Balochistan on Saturday, resulting in heavy rain in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Pashin, Panjgur, Turbat, Khuzdar, Kalat on January 28 and 29. And in Makran, light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely over the mountains.

The PDMA department has instructed the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel on January 28 and 29.

It should be noted that strong winds from Quetta blew in Karachi the whole day yesterday too, the speed of which was recorded at 40 km per hour.

Due to stronger than normal winds, the intensity of cold also increased and the actual temperature felt colder.

Shahr Quaid recorded a minimum of 9 degrees and a maximum of 23.5 degrees yesterday.
