Lahore: NAB’s combined investigation team handed over a 20-page questionnaire to Usman Buzdar in the asset-over-income inquiry against former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and directed him to fill it in the next appearance.
According to NAB sources, Usman Buzdar could not give a satisfactory answer to the questions of the NAB investigation team, Usman Buzdar kept saying that the matter is under hearing in the court. Usman Buzdar expressed ignorance on several questions and asked for time for legal consultation on some.
NAB has called for records against Usman Buzdar from various departments, Usman Buzdar is being considered to be summoned again next week. According to NAB Lahore, NAB Lahore received a complaint against Usman Buzdar for making assets of 10 rupees through corruption.
After the appearance, Usman Buzdar said that he fully cooperated with the NAB investigation team, their questions were ridiculous, they ask if you have built properties in Spain as well?
The former chief minister said that all the records have been submitted before the Election Commission. Look, NAB asked those questions which have nothing to do with Usman Buzdar directly or indirectly.
