Amin Tirmizi, a well-known literary figure of Dallas, Texas, passed away at the age of 78. He will be buried today.
Amin Tirmizi’s funeral prayer will be held today at a mosque in South Arlington, while he will be laid to rest this afternoon at Al Baqi (Moor Garden) Cemetery in South Davis Arlington.
Amin Tirmizi was diagnosed with Leukemia by doctors a few months ago, after which he recovered and moved to his home, but on Wednesday and Thursday night, he suddenly met his Creator.
Amin Tirmizi had been making thousands of listeners here by promoting Urdu literature in local radio programs for many years.
He showed his creative colors in many fields of literature, wrote columns, along with fiction writing, he also used to write poetry.
He obtained his master’s degree in Urdu from Karachi University and master’s degree in different languages from Germany and later he moved to America and lived in America for many years.
Community leaders and well-known personalities have prayed that Allah Almighty grants Amin Tirmidhi Paradise everywhere.
Amin Tirmizi is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
