The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court has exceeded 52 thousand

Islamabad: The Supreme Court has once again released the details of the pending cases, according to which the number of pending cases has exceeded 52 thousand till March 3, 2023.

In the statement received by the Supreme Court to Express News, it has been written that the number of pending cases till March 3, 2023 is 52 thousand 481, out of which the total number of miscellaneous applications is 3958.

The statement said that 400 appeals against registrar office objections while 17 miscellaneous applications in human rights cases are pending. It has been stated in the statement issued by the Supreme Court that in the decision of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa to form the benches, the number of pending cases was written more than 56 thousand.
