Karachi: A cheetah golden tabby tiger kept in Karachi zoo died mysteriously, on which the administrator took notice and asked for a report.
According to Express News, the golden tabby tiger of the Bengal breed was found dead in the cage on Thursday morning due to cardiac arrest. Generally, the age of leopards of this breed is between 20 to 25 years, while Tabi was 21 years old and It was transferred from the Safari Park to the Zoo in 2013.
After the transfer, the zoo also became the center of attention of Tibi citizens and children, women, youth were happy to see it.
Sources say that due to not getting good food, the condition of Golden Tubby was bad for several days, but it is feared that the lack of food may have also caused the death. Senior Director Khalid Hashmi was contacted in this regard, but he did not speak.
Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman, while taking notice of the death of the golden tabby tiger in the Karachi Zoo, has directed to find out the reasons for the death of the golden tabby tiger in the zoo and to submit an immediate report.
He said that no compromise can be made on the issue of health care of zoo animals and health protection of all animals will be ensured.
On the other hand, due to the incompetence of the Karachi Zoo officials, the rare animals of the zoo are dying due to lack of food while the management is ignoring the disease.
The only rare elephant in Karachi Zoo is on the verge of dying due to lack of food and treatment.
