Karachi: Within 24 hours, the New Karachi Police of Shahr Quaid area safely recovered the abducted infant girl and arrested the husband and wife.
In this regard, SHO New Karachi Kamal Naseem said that on the complaint of Ali Raza, a resident of Sector 11D, the police registered a case of abduction of his eleven-month-old daughter Matasha. On Wednesday evening, husband and wife went to the market and left our daughter Matasha at their house. When we came back, their house was locked. The mobile phone number given by his neighbor Danish was being switched off, however, the police started an investigation on technical grounds and raided the adjacent places including Sarjani Town and New Karachi. After raiding a house, the abducted girl was safely recovered and the husband and wife were arrested.
The accused told in the initial investigation that we liked Matasha very much, that’s why we took her away, but the police is investigating further in this regard.
