An explosive device has been recovered from a passenger at the international airport in the US state of Pennsylvania.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says that 40-year-old Mark Muffley, a passenger on his way to Florida, checked his suitcase and found an explosive device.
The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said that a suspicious object was found in the suitcase, which upon checking was found to be an explosive device.
A TSA spokesman says technicians from the FBI and local law enforcement agencies confirmed it was an explosive device.
During the search, the bag was checked and the alarm went off. The bag contained a round object containing two fuses and some saffron wrapped in wax powder and plastic.
Muflay was told to go to airport security after the alarm went off, but he left the airport a few minutes later.
He was later arrested from his home in Syria, and will be produced in court today.
