Sessions court of Lahore has postponed the hearing of defamation claim against singer Misha Shafi till March 28. The cross-examination of Misha Shafi will continue at the next hearing.
Additional Sessions Judge Khan Mehmood heard the defamation claim of singer Ali Zafar, singer Ali Zafar appeared in the court along with his lawyer while Misha Shafi was cross-examined through video link.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked Meesha Shafi how much foreign funding did you get for the Me2 campaign, Meesha Shafi said that there was no funding.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked then why did FBR freeze your accounts? Misha Shafi said I don’t know, ask my tax lawyer.
During cross-examination, Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked Misha Shafi whether it is true that you uploaded the video of the concert with Ali Zafar on the Facebook page.
The lawyer said that even after the alleged incident of sexual harassment, you uploaded two pictures with Ali Zafar? To which Misha Shafi said that I am not active on Facebook anymore.
Misha said I don’t remember, I can check it from my account, it must have been uploaded by someone from the professional team.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 28, instructing Ali Zafar’s lawyer to continue cross-examination at the next hearing.
