Karachi: Flour Mills Association has announced immediate closure of all flour mills in Karachi.
Chairman of Flour Mills Association Chaudhry Amir said that the Food Department is supplying poor and low quantity of wheat contrary to promises, 4 mills in Karachi and 3 mills in Sindh were sealed on false allegations.
He said that despite the supply of wheat less than the quota, there is pressure to provide cheap flour, flour mills will not tolerate any kind of blackmailing, from today flour, bran delivery and sale will not be done at the mills.
Chaudhry Amir said that any new challan of Sindh Food Department will not be accepted.
