Ishna Shah chose Pakistani designer Warda Saleem to design her wedding dress.
Varda Salim shared a video about the couple from Ushanashah’s wedding on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
She said in the video that everyone at our brand was very excited to design a wedding dress for Ushnashah.
He said that when we met the actress for the first time, it was known that she wanted to get a certain type of couple ready for her wedding.
He added that the actress wanted a traditional red color ensemble for her wedding that was inspired by the Mughal era, so we chose a special type of red color to create the ensemble.
“I chose traditional embroidery methods to create the wedding dress of the actress and beautifully embroidered it with kura, dakka, nakshi and silk work,” Varda Salim said.
He said that to make the wedding couple inspired by the Mughal heritage, the motifs like elephant, doli, deer and moon were embroidered on the hem of the lehenga to reflect the culture of that era.
