Canada bans Chinese video sharing app TikTok
According to British media, the spokesperson of the Canadian government has said that there are unacceptable risks to privacy and security with the use of the TikTok application.
A Canadian government spokesperson said the decision was made after a review by the Chief Information Officer.
On the other hand, the Tik Tok spokesperson has expressed disappointment over Canada’s decision.
It should be noted that the White House in America has given 30 days time to the federal agencies to implement the ban on Tik Tok.
According to foreign media, government agencies have 30 days to delete TikTok from federal devices and systems.
Earlier, the European Commission has also banned China’s video sharing app TikTok.
