Sajal Ali, a well-known actress of Pakistan showbiz industry, has revealed that she faces a lot of difficulty in choosing good scripts.
Sajal Ali recently gave an exclusive interview to a British broadcaster and said that it is very difficult to choose good scripts in the Pakistani entertainment industry because nowadays most of the dramas show girls falling in love with a man who is the main character of the story. At the beginning, he is harassing and causing pain.
He said that unfortunately such dramas also have good viewership but I think that TV has the power to change people’s thinking.
He added that we feel that the viewers of these dramas are not intelligent but the fact is that they are all very intelligent and we have to fight a lot to show good characters in the dramas and that battle is still going on.
Talking about being cast for the international film ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’, Sajal Ali said, ‘My agents for international projects told me about this film because they felt That I can do this role skillfully’.
“I was sent a script of two scenes to send an audition video and after that I got an email that I was selected,” he said.
