The flight of the US dollar continues, due to which the Pakistani rupee has not recovered yet.
Since the opening of business this morning, the US dollar has suddenly started flying high and it is not stopping till now.
The inter-bank rate of the dollar increased by Rs 24 11 paise to Rs 255.
Interbank dollar sellers are asking Rs 260.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at 230 rupees 89 paise in the interbank.
The previous highest value of the dollar in interbank was 239 rupees 94 paise on 28 July 2022.
In the open market, the dollar is getting Rs 255 after depreciating by Rs 12.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange has witnessed a positive start of business this morning.
Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index has increased by 469 points to 40 thousand 254.
Yesterday, the 100 index closed at 39,785 points.
