Islamabad: The federal government has formed a committee for the implementation of national austerity measures.
The government constituted a committee for implementation of national austerity measures, the TORs of the 7-member committee include reviewing the progress of implementation of austerity measures approved by the federal cabinet.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the committee includes Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Aminul Haq, Azam Nazir Tarar, Tariq Bashircheema, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Hashim Notizai.
The Principal Accounting Officer will submit his recommendations including timelines for implementation of austerity measures to the said committee. The timelines for implementation of austerity measures will be completed by February 27.
