Lahore: Anti-corruption Punjab Director General (DG) Sohail Zafar Chatta has said that all the records of the development works done during the tenure of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have been called, while the records of the development projects of the PTI era have also been collected from the commissioners of Punjab. While Farrukh Gogi’s case will be sent to FIA.
In a conversation with journalists, Sohail Zafar Chatta said that a fresh inquiry has been started in all the cases registered against Farrukh Gogi, in addition to this, the inquiry against Sheikh Rasheed has also been reopened.
He said that Sheikh Rasheed had diverted the road towards his land in the ring road scandal and thereby increased the price of his land. He said that Farah Gogi had sold agricultural land at cheap prices through influence, his case will also be sent to FIA.
Sohail Zafar said that the records of all the housing societies across Punjab have also been called and it is being seen how many housing societies were relieved by Usman Buzdar and Pervez Elahi. Requested records.
He clarified that the officer who does not cooperate with anti-corruption will be arrested. DG anti-corruption Punjab said that the file of ring road scandal has also been opened for re-inquiry, inquiries and arrests can be started next week.
Apart from this, the records of the departments of Mahmud Al-Rashid, Raja Basharat, Murad Ras, Yasmin Rashid and other ministers have also been sought. According to the sources, arrests of officers and former ministers involved in corruption are expected from the first week of March.
