During the event, when Ranbir Kapoor was asked whether he is ready to do a Pakistani film if the film is shot in some other location instead of Pakistan? To which Ranbir Kapoor replied, ‘Absolutely ready, I think there are no boundaries for artists. Of course! I would like to do a film.’

Speaking at an event to promote his film, Ranbir Kapoor said, ‘My words were misinterpreted.’

He also said that he did not want to create any controversy over the question asked during the event.

Ranbir said that ‘I don’t think this is such a big controversy, for me films are films and art is art, I have also worked with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.’

The Indian actor said that ‘I know many Pakistani artists, including singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam, who have contributed to Hindi cinema.’

Ranbir also said that ‘I don’t think cinema sees borders. Of course you have to respect art, but not art more than your country.’
