The defamation case filed by singer and actor Ali Zafar against singer Misha Shafi was heard in the session court yesterday.
During the hearing in Session Court Lahore, Ali Zafar appeared in court while Ali Zafar’s lawyer Tariq Gul cross-examined Meesha Shafi through video link.
During the hearing, Ali Zafar’s lawyer Tariq Gul questioned Meesha Shafiq that you presented a photo in the court, on the basis of which you accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, you uploaded this photo on your Facebook account. Kay, you captioned it party tonight, and wished Ali Zafar’s wife a happy birthday, how can you call that sexual harassment?
In response, Misha Shafi said that I don’t remember about this, I will tell you something after seeing the picture. During the hearing, Misha Shafi was shown a picture on his Facebook account.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked during the cross-examination that you had come to Pakistan and said that you were never called by the court, did you deliberately misrepresent the court orders?
On which Mashiya Shafi said that this sentence came out of my mouth by mistake during the conversation with the media.
The court adjourned the hearing till March 1, summoning the lawyers for further cross-examination on the statement of Misha Shafi.
