Karachi: The police foiled the terror plan by taking timely action in Shahr Quaid.
Police sources say that a huge amount of weapons have been recovered from the ground near Gulshan Hadid Link Road, which includes 30 bore pistols, short guns.
Officials have revealed that among the recovered weapons, several weapons were stolen on January 31, the sacks recovered during the excavation were new while the weapons were old.
In the past few days, weapons were stolen from the security company of the brother of the opposition leader of the Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, whose case was registered on February 7 in Shah Latif Town.
Police sources say that in the Shah Latif and Steel Town cases, many of the numbers of weapons are the same, most of the weapons found in 6 sacks are stolen.
Sources say that the police have also found a metal detector and a wireless set from the sack.
