8 people, including women, were injured in an accident involving a Green Line bus in Karachi.
A Green Line bus ran over the footpath due to high speed near Nagin Chowrangi area of Karachi. The front of the bus was damaged when the bus hit the pavement.
In the accident, 8 people, including women, were slightly injured and shifted to the hospital. In the statement released by the administration on the Green Line bus accident, it has been said that the track was cleared and the service was restored. An investigation into the accident has been started. It will be supported by cameras installed inside the bus and on the track.
According to the spokesperson of Green Line Bus, the passengers were safe in the accident, but the driver suffered serious injuries due to the collision with the glass. Modern buses are equipped with high standards of safety which did not cause any serious damage. Brake failure is unlikely.
