Karachi: The sixth three-day Sindh Literature Festival will be held at the Karachi Arts Council from March 3 to 5.

According to Express News, Arts Council of Pakistan held a press conference in Karachi regarding the sixth three-day Sindh Literature Festival in which it was informed that the festival will start on March 3 and will continue till March 5.

President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that the season of festivals is going on, the first festival was started 16 years ago by Arts Council Karachi, before that there was no festival, at that time the conditions of Karachi were very bad.

He said that culture is the only way that can bring us together at one center, our base is Sindh province, the capital of Sindh is Karachi, we started the festivals from Karachi, even in adverse conditions we held the World Urdu Conference. continued.

Ahmad Shah further said that first Pakistan, first of all Sindh and Sindh land is our mother, it is our civilization, our culture, we will organize these fairs all over Pakistan, we have been banned before.

Noorulhuda Shah said that I am very happy that this festival is being organized continuously, despite the opposition, it is a welcome thing to organize this festival, Ahmad Shah is fully supporting, I am happy that the young generation is actively participating in this festival. If we participate, the flow of the Indus river will flow through the entire land and then the sea will be formed.

Dr. Ayub Sheikh said that this festival is to sit together, one day you will see that when the shadows disappear and the realities are not revealed, all this we are doing for the new generation.

Naseer Gopang said that the festival will continue from March 3 to 5 at the Arts Council, this year the theme of the festival is “Environmental Change”, Sheikh Ayaz’s birthday will also be celebrated, and mushairas of young poets will be held on three days on different topics. There will be meetings and discussions.

Zohaib Kaka said that this is not Sindhi literature festival but Sindh literature festival, in it you will find all languages ​​including Urdu, Punjabi, Saraiki, the festival should be inaugurated on March 3, Friday at 4 pm which was inaugurated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali. Shah and Provincial Education and Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah will do it.
