Karachi: In Orangi Town area of Shahr Quaid, police and law enforcement agencies raided the bus stand and recovered a huge quantity of arms and arrested two smugglers.
According to Express News, the weapons smugglers brought weapons from Peshawar to Karachi by bus, which were to be used in terrorism in the city.
Sensitive organizations and police blocked the Orangi Town bus stand. As soon as the accused got off the bus and started sitting in the rickshaw, they were arrested and a consignment of sweets and weapons were seized and 2 accused including the rickshaw driver were arrested.
Sources said that 30 nine mm pistons, bullets and big weapons were recovered from the sweet boxes. The accused had separated their parts from the big weapons. Police sources said that the accused weapons were to be used for terrorism and some of the weapons were to be sold in Karachi. The terrorists have also disclosed about their other accomplices who are being raided in different areas of the city to arrest them.
