Lahore: The families of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders arrested in Jail Bharu Tehreek approached the court for their release.
PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi Ejaz Chaudhry, Asad Umar. The families of Waleed Iqbal and others have approached the Lahore High Court for their release. The son and daughter of Shah Mahmood Qureshi have filed an application in the Lahore High Court for the release of their father, in which they have taken a stand that Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been kept in detention for no reason.
The leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaaf were detained by the police from Lahore on Wednesday and we are not being told where our leaders are. In the petition, it has been requested that the Lahore High Court should order the release of the leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf from imprisonment.
The hearing on the pleas filed by the families of the PTI leaders will be held on Friday.
