According to the statement issued by the Presidency, President Dr. Arif Alvi approved the Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2023. Approval is given under Article 75 of the Constitution.

On Monday, the Supplementary Finance Bill 2023 was passed despite the incomplete quorum of the National Assembly. A total of 68 members of the government and the opposition were present in the House, while 86 members are required for the quorum of the meeting.
