Islamabad: The Election Commission has decided to approach the Supreme Court on the issue of fixing the date of elections by the President.

Today’s meeting of the Election Commission has been canceled due to a spontaneous notice. According to the sources, the Election Commission will no longer decide on the President’s election-related orders.
The Election Commission will submit its position on the presidential orders to the Supreme Court. It should be noted that the Election Commission was supposed to decide on the presidential decree today after receiving the written opinion of the constitutional experts.
