Islamabad: During the budget session in the Senate, Senator Dinesh Kumar, a minority member, reminded the ruling of Allah regarding usury and termed the rulers as ‘hypocrites’ over the transaction.
In the Senate meeting, Balochistan Awami Party Senator Dinesh Kumar said that the Federation is giving money to the provinces on interest, whereas in Islamic teachings, interest is a war with Allah, so why are we doing interest transactions.
He said that as a non-Muslim I am ashamed of this hypocrisy.
Dinesh Kumar criticized the government and federal ministers for their absence in the House and said that “everything is a lie in this House and no minister or government member is present. It is a place of curse for us because we are wasting people’s money.” Returning without hesitation’.
He further said that we will give suggestions, not a single suggestion will be implemented, if it happens, I will not come to the House for a year.
Meanwhile, Senator of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Abdul Wasi expressed his regret over Senator Dinesh Kumar’s speech and reminder of Allah’s ruling on usury and said that a Hindu senator read out Allah’s ruling on usury. A place of shame for all.
