Karachi: In Orangi Town Mominabad area of Shahr Quaid, one citizen was killed and another was injured while resisting robbery, while two robbers were killed due to public violence.
According to the details, one citizen was killed and another was injured due to firing by armed persons on resisting robbery near Ghosia Chowk area of Orangi Town Mominabad. The deceased was identified as Gulzar while the injured were identified as Muawiya. This year, the number of people who died due to robbers’ firing has reached 76.
After the incident, the injured and killed citizen were taken to the hospital for treatment, while the residents of the area caught and tortured the dacoit who opened fire after the death of the youth, as a result of which one accused died on the spot while the other escaped. .
According to SSP West, after the incident, SHO Mominabad along with the team reached the spot and controlled the situation while also collecting evidence from the scene. has initiated disciplinary action after the incident.
Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar, taking notice of the killing of a citizen for resisting robbery in Mominabad, immediately suspended SHO Mominabad and asked for his previous and recent records.
He said that killing or injuring citizens during robbery resistance or other crimes would be intolerable, there should be no negligence or negligence in Eid-ul-Adha security measures. Snap checking, picketing and patrolling should be made more effective and coordinated.
Meanwhile, in Sarjani Town, the robbers who escaped after looting were caught and tortured by the public, as a result of which one robber was killed.
