Rawalpindi: During the incident, the robbers looted more than 2 crores including dollars from the house and escaped.
According to the police, armed robbers broke into a citizen’s house in a major incident in Wah Cantt area of Rawalpindi police station and fled after stealing more than 2 crore rupees in cash, dollars, valuable watches and jewelry etc. The police have registered a case on the statement of citizen Aman Mir.
According to the plaintiff’s case, 4 armed robbers entered the house, tortured me and Khansaman, tied me with ropes and threatened to kill me. The accused fled from the house after stealing Rs 58 lakh cash, Rs 60 lakh jewellery, 16 thousand 135 dollars and Rs 26 lakh worth of watches.
The accused also looted perfume worth Rs 150,000, 9mm pistol and 200 bullets, glasses worth Rs 18,000 and purses worth Rs 54,000. During the incident, the accused also took the DVR of the CCTV cameras with them.
The police have started investigating the incident.
