Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan will pronounce the verdict on the case related to the tribunal change today.

According to Express News, the Election Commission will give a decision on the request of Muslim League-N to change the Election Tribunal today at 3 o’clock.

The Election Commission had reserved its decision on the tribunal change case on Friday.

The Legislature MNAs from Islamabad had applied to the Election Commission regarding the change of Election Tribunal. The Election Commission had reserved its decision on Friday after listening to the arguments of the PML-N and PTI-backed candidates for two days.

All three Legislature MNAs including Tariq Fazal Chaudhry from Islamabad expressed no confidence in Election Tribunal Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri. The lawyers of PTI-backed Shoaib Shaheen, Amir Mughal and Ali Bukhari had requested to reject the pleas of the PML-N leaders. In the last hearing, Faisal Chaudhry said that the Election Commission does not have the authority to change or review the tribunal.
