Karachi: In all the districts of Shahr-e-Quaid, a series of operations against illegal cattle markets is ongoing under the direction of Karachi Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi.
The Deputy Commissioners said that action is being taken every day. No one will be allowed to set up a cattle market without the permission of the Commissioner and a case will be registered against anyone who violates it.
The Deputy Commissioners have also submitted the report of actions taken against illegal cattle markets in their respective districts. According to which 25 illegal cattle markets established in the city have been abolished so far.
According to the report, more than 60 illegal markets are established in different areas of Karachi, against which action is being taken and notices have been issued to them.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that other illegal markets will also be removed in the next two days.
Commissioner Karachi Syed Hasan Naqvi has instructed the Deputy Commissioners that the cattle markets established in the city without the permission of the Karachi administration are illegal, to eliminate them and to take legal action against the responsible persons.
