Lahore: A ban has been imposed on the sale of sacrificial animals at places other than markets in the provincial capital.
According to the spokesman, the Punjab Interior Department has imposed Section 144 on the sale of sacrificial animals on the highways and streets of Lahore, under which the sale of sacrificial animals in the provincial capital is allowed in places other than the 8 cattle markets. Trading has been banned.
According to the notification, the sacrificial animals will be sold only in the allotted 8 cattle markets. A ban has been imposed on the sale of sacrificial animals on the highways and streets of Lahore till June 20. Section 144 has been imposed to maintain law and order and maintain traffic flow.
It should be noted that Deputy Commissioner Lahore had recommended the implementation of Section 144 in public interest.
Shahpur Kanjran, LDA City Defense Road, Barki Road Paragon, Sigiyan Road, Sports Complex Ada Rakh, NFC Multan Road, Raiwind Sunder Road and New King Lane Society are exempted from the ban.
