Islamabad: The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Faisal Karim Kundi met the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki, where they discussed issues of mutual interest, promotion of investment and available opportunities in the province.
According to the statement issued by the governor’s office, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia met in Islamabad and Abdullah Al Barak, director of King Salman Humanitarian Relief and Aid Center Pakistan Wing was also present on this occasion.
The statement said that in the meeting, issues of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral cooperation including Pak-Saudi relations, investment opportunities available in the province and investment promotion were also discussed.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the relief services of Shah Salman Relief Center across the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that he appreciated the relief services of Shah Salman Relief Center in alleviating poverty and serving the suffering humanity, especially in the backward districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Faisal Karim Kundi said that in the recent floods, the love with which Shah Salman Relief Center has helped the flood victims in Dera Ismail Khan, Dir, Swat, Chitral and Charsadda is unprecedented.
He said that the Saudi government has always supported the people of Pakistan in all kinds of situations and this is the reason why the hearts of the entire Pakistani nation beat with the Saudi government and people.
