Lahore: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says that not only street crime but terrorism is happening in Karachi, 80 youths were killed in the past few years.
Addressing a press conference in Mansoora Lahore, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that there is a state of fear and terror in the city of Karachi where the youth are being targeted and killed. Karachi is the hub of the country’s economy, but politicians and governments do not recognize this city. 90,000 incidents of stealing mobiles and motorcycles have been reported in a year. Karachi is the backbone of the country, if law and order is established in it, it will play an important role in the development of the country.
He said that PPP and MQM which is in every power has ruined generations, the government formed in the name of PML-N mandate also does not take responsibility for Karachi street crime. PPP, PML-N and MQM are products of Form 47, those who gave seats to them have wronged the country and nation.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that when the Army Chief went to Karachi, he made a clear announcement that he would put his hands on the system, but it is still being captured, there is a trap of revenue and corruption, then the same system came again from Form 47, the voice of the people in Karachi is not there. It doesn’t happen, but we will raise their voices across the country.
He said that it has been 35 years since the Rangers came to Karachi, if the police system is not fixed then who should be questioned and the youth will continue to die like this. People of Karachi don’t get government jobs, if the life of those working in private sector is not safe then they send them out, Rangers and police should play their role and remove black sheep from their ranks.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that PDM-2, which had changed the regime and set up a market in Sindh House, gave 15 National Assembly seats to MQM and whoever gave it has done enmity to the nation, the people of Karachi have thrown all the parties out. If thrown away, the establishment brought it back, the opinion of the people was trampled, the state means the people, the state does not mean the institution or the army.
