Peshawar: PESCO has raided private hospitals involved in electricity theft and fined lakhs of rupees on the involved hospitals.
According to PESCO, the PESCO S&I team has conducted raids on hospitals involved in electricity theft, large-scale electricity theft has been caught in four private hospitals in a single day, a tempered meter has been seized from Amin Medical Complex, Bonaire. A fine of three lakh rupees has been imposed.
According to Pesco, 5 tempered meters were caught in Al-Sahat Hospital in Swat, after which a fine of Rs. Electricity was being stolen from the coils.
According to spokesperson Pesco, letters have been sent to the respective police stations to register cases against the owners of all the hospitals.
