According to Spokesman SSP City Arif Aziz, 2 suspects who opened fire on the shopkeepers’ shops and demanded extortion at the behest of Wasiullah Lakho were arrested red-handed. Yesterday, the accused came to shoot at Masha Allah General Store in Kharadar with the intention of demanding extortion and spreading fear in the area.
The accused were fleeing after firing when the Kharadar police on patrol arrested the two accused red-handed. The arrested suspects belong to Wasiullah Lakho group, the commander of Uzair Baloch, the leader of the Lyari gang war. Among the arrested suspects are Rizwan and Kabir. The accused is the brother of Rizwan Salman Pathan, who is wanted and absconding in other serious cases including murder, attempted murder, extortion and robbery by Wasiullah Lakho.
The arrested accused have disclosed in the initial investigation that on April 22, 2024, on the request of Wasiullah Lakho, Rahman escaped by firing at the biryani shop, which is charged in case number 129/2024 under section 385/387/324/34 RW 7ATA police station. It is listed in Kharadar.
The accused said that on April 30, at the behest of Wasiullah Lakhu, they had fired at Honda Showroom Kharadar for extortion and escaped, whose case was accused No. 139/2024 under Section 385/387/324/109/34 RW 7ATA Police Station Kharadar. is listed in Masha Allah, the accused had come yesterday to fire at General Store Kharadar and accidentally fired at Mehran Bakery, in which the employee of the bakery was also injured. has CCTV footage. The accused were running away after firing when the police on patrol arrested both the accused red-handed.
The police have also obtained the CCTV footage of all these incidents. 2 pistols with bullets, mobile phone, cash and motorcycle have been recovered from the arrested accused. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and handed over to the Special Investigation Unit authorities for further legal action.
