Lahore: The Punjab Police has sent a letter to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the arrest and extradition of the advertising suspects involved in May 9.
The Police Chief has sent a letter to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the arrest and handover of the 9 May advertisements, in which the accused have been demanded to be handed over.
According to the Punjab Police, the locations of 89 advertisers involved in the incidents of May 9 have been traced, the advertising suspects are hiding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar and many other leaders and workers including those who took shelter in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are included, whose list has been sent to KP Police for arrest.
The police spokesman says that an effective strategy will be formed for the arrest of advertisers wanted in May 9 cases, there are chances of resistance during the arrest of advertisers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It should be noted that two days ago, the Punjab Police had decided to contact the KP Police while deciding to conduct a crackdown to arrest the advertising accused of May 9 tragedy.
