Islamabad: The Election Commission took notice of the non-submission of election campaign expenditure details in the general elections.
The Election Commission had issued notices to 40 political parties for submitting campaign expenditure details and their leaders have been summoned today.
Among the parties and leaders summoned to the Election Commission are BNP President Akhtar Mengal, PTI Ideological Akhtar Iqbal Dar, Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party President and former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry.
ANP president Asfandyar Wali, Jamshed Dasti of Awami Raj Party, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain of QL and Raja Abbas Nasir of MWM have also been summoned.
