Violation of prevailing laws can be taken by CDA according to law, court
Islamabad: Islamabad High Court ordered CDA to immediately deseal PTI secretariat office.
The court allowed the petition and said that CDA did not issue any notice before the order to seal the PTI Central Secretariat, CDA did not send the order to seal the office to PTI nor did it send a copy. went
Justice Thaman Rifat Imtiaz delivered a safe verdict on PTI’s petition.
The written judgment issued by the court said that CDA had issued notices to the former owner in 2022 and 2023 and then show cause notices. That is, there is no receipt on record for service of notice or show cause notice.
According to the written judgment, a register created by CDA is not sufficient proof of receipt of notices, CDA did not issue any notice prior to the order to seal PTI Central Secretariat, also the order to seal the office of CDA. Neither written nor copy sent to PTI.
