Karachi: An anti-polio campaign has been launched under the Sindh Health Department to eradicate polio in the province. In the 7-day campaign, 5.4 lakh children of 19 districts of Sindh have been set as the target of vaccination against polio.
Sindh Health Department has started an anti-polio campaign in 19 districts of Sindh from today (June 3) to June 9.
Sindh Health Minister says that the denial of parents is a challenge in the fight against polio, polio drops can protect the child from life-long disability.
He gave a message that efforts are being made to ensure that no child is left out of taking polio drops, parents must give polio drops to children up to five years of age by cooperating with polio workers.
