Lahore: It has been revealed that a camera has been installed in the women’s hostel in the Ghazal Hostel located in the Johar Town area, the hidden camera was installed in the washroom of the Ghazal Hostel by the management.
Using a hidden camera, videos of the girls living in the hostel were being filmed. A case was registered against 7 accused in Johar police station on the complaint of the uncle of the resident student.
More than 40 female students from different cities of Punjab were living in the hostel.
The girls’ hostel was run by Mian Salim, a resident of BOR Society, and his wife Fauzia. Saghir, a resident of Wahari, Tavar Shahzad, a resident of Sheikhupura, Mohammad Zubair of Jhang, Irfan of Pak Patan and Ali Hassan of Rahim Yar Khan have been named in the case, while hostel owner Mian Saleem and his wife Fauzia Saleem are also named in the case.
According to the police, all the accused persons named in the case escaped from the spot as soon as 15 calls were made.
The police vacated the hostel after registering a case while the statements of the students were recorded by the investigation teams. In their statements, the students confirmed the presence of the camera in the washrooms.
