Islamabad: 3 people have been arrested on suspicion of setting fire on Margalla hills while a case has been registered against 15 people.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon was present at the spot to review the fire fighting on the Margalla hills and informed that precautionary measures have been taken to keep the fire confined to the residential area.
Irfan Memon said that fire fighters and helicopters are taking part in the process of extinguishing the fire.
He said that the arrested persons are being interrogated, cases have been registered against 15 people who started the fire two days ago.

DC Islamabad said that more arrests will be made in the next few days in connection with the fire on the hills and requested the citizens to make it mandatory to identify those involved in the fire.
