Islamabad: Deputy Commissioner Islamabad gave permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally on Rawat GT Road.
A contempt of court case regarding not allowing PTI to hold a rally in Islamabad was heard. The representative of the district administration informed the High Court after deciding on the petition of PTI.
PTI lawyer Shoaib Shaheen took the stand that we want the rally to be allowed in F-9 Park, to which the court remarked that if you want, you can file a fresh petition and challenge the order of the administration.
The court disposed of the petition regarding the permission of the PTI rally.
Speaking informally to the media outside the court, lawyer Shoaib Shaheen said that we will challenge the DC’s order allowing the rally in Rawat.
