Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has approved the budget for the next financial year.
According to the details, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session, the Finance Minister presented the finance bill of 1456 billion rupees for the next fiscal year, which was approved by the House.
The House rejected the amendments in the Finance Bill on health card, lawyers and marriage hall taxes.
Finance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has amended the property tax under which exemption from property tax has been increased from 4.9 to 4.99.

The amendment was moved by opposition member Sobia Shahid for up to 5 Marla.
Apart from this, the opposition members in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly withdrew the motion to cut the demands of the departments and approved the demands.
After the approval of the finance bill, the meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was adjourned till Friday afternoon.
