President of Balochistan Awami Party and Member of National Assembly Khalid Magsi was assassinated in which he narrowly escaped.
According to Levies, armed men opened fire on the convoy of Member of National Assembly Khalid Magsi near Nutal in Quetta, but the armed men escaped due to the retaliatory action of the security personnel and bodyguards.
As a result of the firing, Member of the National Assembly Khalid Magsi and his colleagues were safe from the firing while the armed men were also unharmed.
On the other hand, the former chairman Sadiq Sanjrani strongly condemned the attack on Balochistan Awami Party President Khalid Magsi and contacted him by telephone and inquired about his well-being.
He said that the attack on Khalid Magsi is a deliberate conspiracy, the provincial government should immediately arrest the elements involved in the attack.
