Peshawar: Islamic Jamaat students marched towards the US Embassy against the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
Islami Jamiat Talaba workers were marching from Peshawar University campus towards the US Embassy, when the police tried to stop the students, the workers broke the barricades and left.
The march was led by Islami Jamiat Talaba’s chief moderator Hasan Bilal Hashmi, the protesters also held up flags to express solidarity with Palestine.
Due to the march, security was increased around the US Consulate in Peshawar while police personnel were also called from the line.
