Quetta: 28 people including women and children were killed when a passenger bus fell into a deep ditch in Balochistan.
According to rescue sources, a passenger coach coming from Turbat to Quetta met with an accident in Washik area. 28 people were killed and many others injured, including women and children, when the bus fell into a deep ditch.
According to initial reports, the passenger bus accident happened due to tire burst. As soon as the accident was reported, the rescue teams reached the accident site and took out the dead bodies and the injured and shifted them to Civil Hospital Basima. Later, the injured are being shifted to Quetta for further treatment.
According to officials, more than 20 people have been injured in the accident, most of them in critical condition, due to which the death toll is expected to rise.
