California: Meta’s sub-messaging application WhatsApp has introduced a new feature of long voice status for users.
The messaging platform has been testing various features like AI-powered profile picture and removing notifications for unread messages for the past few days, with the main aim of improving the overall user experience.
Now, in the latest update released by the company for the app, the duration of voice note status has been increased to one minute.
Before the latest update, users could only share a voice note of up to 30 seconds on Status. To do this, one had to go to the status box and press and hold the microphone button.
The company has released this feature for both iPhone and Android users and users have started receiving this feature on their devices.
WhatsApp usually releases a feature gradually. So if any users device does not have this feature then they should update the latest version of the app.
