Lahore: Virtual Women Police Station arrested the accused who raped a 5-year-old girl.
Emergency helpline 15 received a report of rape of a girl. The girl’s mother said that her 5-year-old daughter has been raped. The woman left the baby girl alone at home and went to the market. On her return, the baby girl was not present at home.
To search, the girl was found in a state of unconsciousness at the relative’s house. Virtual Women Police Station informed the local police as soon as they received the call. Relatives also put intense pressure on the woman not to file a case. With the help of Virtual Women Police Station, not only an FIR was filed, but the police took the accused into custody and started further legal proceedings.
