California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp continues to introduce new features for users. Recently, the platform introduced a new feature related to pinned messages for testing.
According to WhatsApp Beta Info, the company has rolled out a new preview feature in pinned messages in the latest beta version 2.24.11.12 of the application. This new update aims to make it easier for users to organize and access important messages in their chats.
This feature was first seen in the previous beta version 2.24.7.27 and has now been rolled out for public testing.
By adding thumbnail previews for pinned messages, WhatsApp has taken another step towards increasing user interaction and order in chats. This means that users will be able to identify the text of a pinned message without opening it in its entirety.
This thumbnail preview is especially useful for media messages such as images and videos.
