Rather, during the investigation, target killings have also been revealed in 18 incidents, after which Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar has given the task of investigating the killing of civilians to IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon.

Provincial Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar told Express News that street crime is an important problem in Karachi for which a policy has been made to prevent it and the police has also been tasked to crack down on big and small street criminals.

Sindh Interior Minister says that the investigation and review of the cases of killing of citizens in street crime incidents revealed that 48 civilians were killed during resistance in street crime incidents, but more than 18 civilians were killed either Is it a target killing or is it a result of personal enmity?

After it was revealed in the police investigation that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has tracked down a group that used to carry out target killings under the guise of street crime, the CTD handed over the two accused from jail. And in the investigation, Waqar and Hasnain revealed the target killing of 13 people and wounding of 11 civilians.

The investigation revealed that this group consisted of 23 boys who used to escape by pretending the target killing was a street crime.

When contacted in this regard, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that street crime is the main problem of Karachi, the death of citizens in robbery incidents is being investigated in a better way and the identity of the arrested accused is also being paraded.

IG Sindh said that more than 65 civilians have been killed in the incidents of robbery, but the police investigated all these murder cases, registered 49 cases and solved 35 cases, among them 15 accused were killed and 53 were arrested, but when the arrested accused were interrogated, it was revealed that some groups were carrying out target killings under the guise of street crime in the city and were trying to make the killing a street crime.

IG Sindh said that these groups have also been identified against whom the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and the Specialized Investigation Unit (SIU) are working.

In this regard, DIG CTD Asif Ijaz Sheikh says that the group of international target killers is also active in Karachi city and this group used to color the target killing as a street crime to avoid arrest. So that the arrest can be avoided or the police will not be interested in arresting these accused like they are in a big target killing incident.

This group used to go to jail in any case after target killing in the city and then operate from there and after release they would commit target killing again. He used to do target killing, arresting him is a major achievement of Sindh Police.
